Or maybe it's just intentionally ambiguous. Those ones are the funnest secrets after all, where the responses aren't just "IA, OP!" and "I disagree but to each his own."

Yes, now that I think of it it does sound really vague. But I'd bet it is one of the two:

a) Shippy fic only ever explores the two extreme forms of love mentioned in Blake's poem, it pisses the OP off

b) Shippy fic only ever explores the selfish kind of love mentioned in Blake's poem, it pisses the OP off

there aren't any other plausible interpretations.
