as someone who actually has a slight strabismus depending on where i'm looking, i can tell you that it's probably my #1 insecurity about my appearance and i'm incredibly self-conscious about positioning my head when i converse with people

reading this secret really didn't fucking help

Same here - lazy eye, to the point of pretty much blindness. It took me until I was almost 30 to start regularly looking people in the eye when I was talking to them, because I worried that they'd think it was gross or weird for how my eyes don't move in unison, and one creeps inward. And now, we have confirmation that I was right.

I'm sorry if the OP can't get over something simple like this. But I'm super glad it didn't keep that actress out from in front of the camera, because it's a really crappy feeling, the feeling that you have to keep your eyes averted lest you put some judgemental person off.
