Well, I think there might be a problem with the passage, because I don't think 'deu' actually means anything. I would assume that it's the result of some kind of misconstruction of 'deus' meaning God. Assuming that's the case, it would be something like "And in perpetual light, God is lord. And in eternal peace, God is lord". Or maybe "Oh God you are lord" or "God the lord". Something along those lines, anyway.

Thanks. It's probably that it's been written down incorrectly by someone only hearing the words and not really being sure.
