Honestly, it doesn't make me rage (but then, I often over-analyze things, so...), but... yeah, I don't see it happening. Frankly, if they were going in that direction, why introduce Mary and a baby into the show (and no, "Mary was canon" doesn't cut it for me)?

I feel this way, too. To me, this season was all about how awesome Mary is (disagree) and how perfect she is for John because they both love danger (eyeroll) and oh, now there's a baby to tie them together (groan). I really don't see how that points to anything other than Mary being in it for the long haul and John staying with her. Not to mention, John doesn't seem as devoted to Sherlock as he was in the prior two. In some bits, he doesn't seem to care at all. Then they have Sherlock/Molly ramped up a bit, and Sherlock in a relationship with Janine which, while fake, was a pretty big departure from the past.

I never thought they'd do Johnlock, but I really don't get why avid fans are choosing this season of all things to point to as their 'proof' it's going to happen. I saw a lot of devotion on Sherlock's part, but nothing that would indicate they were even as close as they were in the first two seasons. Everything between them just felt broken and they seemed to be moving on with other people (Mary & Molly). So, no, I don't see it either.

Yeah... and even though I liked her just fine in SoT, I watch this show to see John and Sherlock solve mysteries and have adventures, not to watch John get all domestic while Sherlock pouts in the corner. That was enough to make me stop watching even before we found out all the shit about Mary in HLV.

I just... honestly, I still love the characters and the set up, but I don't care for the SHOW anymore. I'll stick with fanwork, thanks.
