I got this compliment from an Army dentist when I was in the Reserves. Both the compliment and the context were kinda odd.

That puts a whole new spin on things. The dentist was female as well though, so probably she just...really liked my teeth.

Very odd. It makes me think of "Berenice," Poe's story in which the protagonist becomes obsessed with his wife's teeth, to the point where he resorts to desperate measures when he fears he'll never see them again.
