Paul Gross should have stuck to acting. His writing was terrible. He ignored almost everything about Fraser's characters that was presented by the writes of Seasons 1-2. And I HATE his trying to shove F/K down viewers' throats!

Also, there is just as much "slashy subtext" between Fraser and RayV if you interpret every gesture of friendship and brotherhood as flirting. I think slashy subtext only exists in viewers' minds. There is no factual evidence that Paul Gross deliberately included it, because he's never publicly admitted to doing that.
