What characters will you read no matter who they are paired with?

For me, it would be Spike and Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Neville from Harry Potter, and Natasha and Thor from Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Every fandom I am in I have a fandom bycicle. So, Castiel, Loki, Stiles, Charles Xavier, John Watson, Bilbo Baggins, Leonard 'Bones' McCoy, and Spike (BTVS).

Stiles from Teen Wolf is my current fandom bicycle.

Makoto Naegi.

Jack Harkness. I ship him with the entire universe.

Ha. Should have added him. I ship him with everyone too. And often in threesomes with my favorite Who ships.

Jack ships himself with the entire universe, too

This. You could put Jack with almost anybody and make it work.

Rodney McKay.

:) I ship Teyla with evrybody but John.

I ship Rodney with everyone except John and Elizabeth. Though Rodney/Ronon, Rodney/Teyla, Rodney/Radek and Rodney/Ronon/Teyla are particular favourite combinations.

All of them? I can generally find something to like about any pairing unless I find it somehow morally questionable and even then I sometimes like dark fics about them that acknowledge how fucked up they are.

I'll pretty much ship anything when it comes to the MCU movies.

Soundwave, Deadpool, Thor, Sailor Venus, and EVERYONE IN HOMESTUCK.

Roxy Lalonde from Homestuck!

For one thing, she's my favorite character in that story, and for another, I think she has the kind of personality that plays really well off a lot of different people.

I ship anyone with anyone in BBC!Sherlock, same with The Avengers except I don't ship Natasha with Clint*, (and no one with Loki, except possibly Thor).

In most other fandoms I am slightly more selective on which pairing I read, but I am open to most pairings with the exceptions of bad guy** paired with good guys. I can't think of a pairing I would refuse to read if I was told it was good,

*Except in threesomes, for some odd reason.
**I am using guy as a gender neutral term, I am all for the ladies too.

Molly Hooper from Sherlock is my biggest bicycle at the moment. I swear I ship her with everyone. Harry Potter himself also counts, I think.

And then there's Free!, where I ship everyone in every single possible combination. I don't have a bicycle, I have a bike rally.

Most of my ships come from my picking a favourite character and then cheerfully shipping them with more or less everyone else, with some exceptions for ships that squick me or trip triggers. This is my standard shipping pattern in pretty much all my fandoms. There are one or two fandoms in which I have exclusionary OTPs that I won't ship with anyone else, but other than that it's usually a free for all depending on who my favs happen to be.

Yeah, this is pretty much me. I usually just want my favorite to be happy, or at least getting good sex. XD

Scott from Teen Wolf, Neville from Harry Potter (high five!), Korra from LoK, and probably more but I can't think of them :/

Stiles from Teen Wolf mainly, although there have been others in the past.

I actually don't think I have any characters that I'll read ANY pairing with. Nathan from Haven probably comes the closest, but Thor/anyone is super hot even if I'm way more interested in Thor/Loki and Thor/Cap than other pairings.

Dante from Devil May Cry. Literally everyone except Nero. I'd rather he dry-hump fucking Arkham than Nero.

Trek: McCoy. That bamf can bed whomever and it'll be hot. That is, in character TOS McCoy. Humans, Aliens, Women, Men, hell, I read McCoy/Alien Blob and as dark as it was it was awesome. All the McCoy, all the time.

HP: Back in the day, Snape and Remus were my fandom bicycles; any pairing, really, any pairing at all.

Firefly: Simon. Oh. Yes.

White Collar. Neal. No matter who. No matter even WHAT.
