I know I mentioned one Shakespeare one I liked a while back so I'll pick another one. Baring the ones I wrote myself I like quite a few. There's one I really wanna post but I've forgotten most of it and I'm not sure I could find it right now. Therefor, I think I'll post this one. I like The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I enjoy this one because it's fun to see who interprets it sincerely and who looks at it more cynically (hi). Personally I see someone bragging about what an individual they are even though they admit that the other road was just as good. And I like it. It has personality.

I like both interpretations. I will admit that I came across it in the 6th grade so I only saw the first interpretation back then. Though I will admit 6th grade me was very confused because he said they were the same! "?!?!?!?!?!?!"

I think it's nice to be able to have both interpretations so you can both have the hope it can inspire and the levelheadedness. (Levelheadedness because you realize what a dope he's being.)

I always saw it as, he's not saying either road was necessarily better. But he had to choose one, so he did, and that choice influenced the rest of his life. Just like with every choice we make irl. It may not always be the right choice, and there may not even be a right choice, but it does in the end make all the difference.
