There's a lot of baseball explanation, but the relationships between the guys are really sweet.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-13 01:40 am (UTC)(link)Anyways, seconding Oofuri and adding Slam Dunk (the best basketball anime you'll ever watch, and it's awesome) and Hajime no Ippo.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-13 01:43 am (UTC)(link)and don't listen to that other anon cause Kuroko is great. people get in a tuff over some sports shows not being realistic enough, but who the hell watches/reads them for the actual sports. it's about team interaction and the thrill of their fight to win! but on that note if you DO care, Oofuri is very realistic in terms of games and sports talk. and still adorably wonderful.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-13 02:04 am (UTC)(link)BL? Shounen-ai?
Re: Sports animes
(Anonymous) 2014-02-13 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)So it's better to use BL instead of yaoi/shonen-ai, it's the correct one, but expect most people to use yaoi.

Re: Sports animes
I mean, PoT and Eyeshield are pretty typical 'against all odds'/'one player is surprisingly amazing!!' sports animes, but I love watching them anyway.
