I'm not actually American, and on a side note it funny how much US history I looked up because of this show!. I'm the opposite (white person with recent non-white ancestry) and I'd also find it really cool to see it for that reason. I don't know why, but I feel people always tend to think about this is a really long process or something, but fact is this can easily happen over 3 or 4 generations.
