I'm really only fluent in English right now... I used to speak two; I was in an immersion school for Japanese for K-5th grade, but in middle school and high school the classes dwindled, and I lost a lot of it. :( I still know my hiragana and katakana, and some of the kanji, but I don't think I could get the grammar right, or hold a long conversation with someone anymore.

I would like to get back to it, though, when I have the time to take a class. And I'd love to try and learn Arabic, Italian, and Latin, but I'm kind of scared to try; I tried to take German, and I just couldn't get my head around the grammar. I don't know if that class just had a learning style that didn't work for me, or if I'm just really bad at languages. :/

I also couldn't get my head around German grammar though I really wanted to learn. I think there might be something about it.

It's just so weird to me.

Like, in English you'd say "throw a bale of hay over the fence to the horse".

But in German you say "throw the horse over the fence a bale of hay".

Like, there's a different order to things, and you have to remember which words on are nouns and verbs and adverbs, and I already have enough problems with that in English!
