Re: Teen Wolf
(Anonymous) 2014-02-16 03:55 am (UTC)(link)I have a love/hate thing going on for this stupid show. The quality in the writing fluctuates. The show is essentially about teenagers in high school, being dumb teenagers in a high school. There is almost no character development. The special effects are lolworthy. The main protagonist is incredibly boring. The dialogue is stiff and awkward at times.
AND YET.
The cast is stupidly attractive. The older cast members are talented. The plots are actually pretty interesting. I care about these stupid teenagers. Everyone has awesome chemistry with everyone else. It has emotional moments. It deals with gay teenagers like they are totally normal and not social pariahs. The music is catchy.
God help me I love it.

I don't take it too seriously. It's sort of like eating chocolate. I snack and enjoy it, but a main meal it is not.
