...This is so oddly phrased.

But if she said no, she said no, that's all there is to it. You shouldn't try to change for someone in the first place, it'll just make you unhappy, believe me. And it's unlikely to work anyway. My advice is to have some ice cream, be sad for a bit, and move on.
