...Y'know, "lack of fanbase" and "Harry Potter" are two things I never thought I'd hear in the same sentence. You're a lucky bastard, if that's your definition of a rare/obscure ship.

That said, if you want to write it, write it. Don't worry about whether or not it'll be as popular as your previous fan-favorite, for God's sake.

I don't think the OP is calling the Harry Potter fanbase small; just the Hermione/Pansy (Hermionsy? Panmione?) fanbase small.

But yeah, still write it, OP. I don't think I've ever heard of any Hermione/Pansy fanwork and I'm sure the people who also ship it would love some. (Psst, I'm not averse to this comment being replied to with recs.)
