^ That quote is the reason Sirius is my favorite HP character.

And on the less ~deep and thoughtful~ end of the spectrum... this isn't so much a quote, but a conversation:

Cheshire Cat: Oh, by the way, if you'd really like to know, he went that way.
Alice: Who did?
Cheshire Cat: The White Rabbit.
Alice: He did?
Cheshire Cat: He did what?
Alice: Went that way.
Cheshire Cat: Who did?

(...basically I love anything the Cheshire Cat says. In any context.

Okay, I'm kind of obsessed with quotes and I have a huge pile so I'll stop now before I dump them all here, lol.

I think Chesh may be my favorite character of all time. Sometimes I think of the "can you stand on your head?" bit and I can't help giggling out of the blue.
