This. Jaime/Cersei vs. Jaime/Brienne is pretty much the biggest ship war/ship drama in the fandom, full of 'Brienne is ugly and Jaime/Brienne will never happen' on the one side and 'Cersei is an evil vagina monster who corrupted poor innocent Jaime, who should now find love with Brienne' on the other.

...what is wrong with me that this makes me want to be a part of this fandom?

...How can you be a fan of this series and so profoundly miss the point that no one and nothing is entirely right or wrong, fair or foul, good or evil?

For a series as pointedly grey as GOT, the fandom for it is surprisingly rigid and black-and-white. It's both bizarre and frustrating.
