Why can't you just say "I watched some of it, I didn't like any of the characters, and if I don't like the characters I don't enjoy watching it?"

In my experience, saying that leads to "you just need to watch MORE! it gets BETTER! OMG IT'S THE BEST SERIES EVER WITH THE BEST WRITING AND THE BEST EVERYTHING HOW CAN YOU NOT WATCH IT".

It's the same crap people get when they don't want to watch Game of Thrones or whatever else show is THE MOST POPULAR BESTEST SHOW EVAR RIGHT NOW. Whatever reason you have for not wanting to watch it doesn't count because you're just not TRYING hard enough to like it. /eyeroll
