Re: Types of media/ways of storytelling you can't get into
1st/2nd Person RP ("I do this to you" - style)
Most TV, but especially sitcoms. I hate sitcoms, and by extension, most comedy movies. I also have a hard time getting into whatever big new favourite comes through fandom. Or even old but still running favourite. Unless I go buy a pile of DVD season sets up like I did with SPN, if a series is already a season in and/or I've missed substantial bits, I won't even try.
Video games - i.e. console gaming. I have only really gotten through games I could play on a PC. The only reason why I have completed both FF7 and FF8 is because of PC ports.
If you go hide your fanfics in obscure places, I am far less likely to read it. Post it on FFN, AO3 or your journal plz!
