I...don't get it. Do you think that giving screen time to one particular group somehow takes away from the amount of screen time that can be given to another group? Like, do you think there's only so much screen time to be given away, and every time you give some to a fat person, the amount that can be given to a non-white or non-male or non-heterosexual person is permanently reduced?

I mean...this really isn't a zero-sum game, OP.

I'm so tired of seeing people act like representation is a zero sum game and that a show is bad because it had representation of this but not that.

Yes, this. It also creates this really unhealthy attitude that there are "deserving" marginalized groups whose concerns are legitimate and should be listened to, and "undeserving" groups who ~aren't really marginalized~ and somehow have it coming when they're overlooked or mistreated. I'm really sick of it.
