I like the twins? Not so fond of them getting a free pass for their part in murdering Erica and Boyd, or how the disapproval is a bare mention, but I like that it's not entirely forgotten and that they're trying to find a way to save their own asses and get in with Scott. I'm probably for sure in the minority section though.

Also, paying complete attention to a fanbase and catering to it sounds rather counter intuitive to being a story teller. At some point you have to weigh the marketability of your show (including keeping viewers) and being able to have creative control.
