This sounds really unhealthy to me.

Which bit? The "me trying to control m girlfriends career" bit?

Actually I feel like you're the one being taken advantage of here. I don't think anyone should control what their partner does for a living as long as it's legal and I have no problem with nude modeling or web camming myself but you sound like you have a lot of self esteem issues and no support system so it's just a sad situation all around. I don't have any advice other than counseling or self-help books, and/or breaking up.

Probably the, "My girlfriend asks about my feelings and then proceeds to ignore what I say, so now I don't feel comfortable being honest about something that worries me even more" bit.

I don't think you should put jokes like that in the middle of a long advice post. It's kind of hard to tell how much of this we're supposed to take seriously. How much of your original post did you exaggerate? For all we know this is a minor thing that's just bothering you now, and outside of this you actually have a great relationship. But just going by your tone and you've told us, you sound codependent and I think most of us are leaning toward the side of "This is unhealthy and you should get out of that relationship"--which, honestly, is the majority reaction most of the time people post about their relationships here. Personally I don't know what you guys are hoping to achieve with these threads, but I digress. I still think this is unhealthy and you should get therapy and I don't mean that as an insult. You said yourself you have no friends, so you need some kind of emotional support. F!s can't run your life for you.
