I can't watch or read execution scenes in general. Even if I hate the character and know they're a horrible person who did the most terrible things... I can't watch. It makes me feel nauseous (if I liked the character it does for a long time).
I guess we all have our squicks.

(I guess with lots of fictional characters, we at least know they were guilty (sometimes not and uuuugh), while in real life there is often doubt and mistakes are made and no. Can't even think of it.)

I feel the same way, anon. The powerlessness of it really twists something in me. I'm a vengeful person (absolutely) but the idea of someone moving toward their death, with no freedom and no choice about it...it's pretty terrifying.
