I did find it a bit iffy that Sasha and Connie seemed amused at Armin's expense in one of the last panels, but was the scene supposed to be hilarious and hot? I didn't really think so, especially judging from Jean's reactions.

Although I'm not saying Isayama did a great service by adding this. But this just feels like you're trying to stir up some wank, OP.

I'm not so sure, no one seemed to care about the molestation, only Jean because him and Armin have become close friends lately. I was pretty mad about this, with Mikasa observing the scene without giving a shit about her friend being molested. Fuck her.

I thought no one saw it except for Jean? And Jean was mad about it.

And to be honest, if they did see it, I hate to say it, but they aren't going to drop everything and comfort Armin because his chest got felt up. Yes, he was sexually molested, yes, Armin is probably really shaken by it. But I don't believe any of these characters are ones who would see that as a priority - frankly, they've all seen a lot worse and had to keep level heads through people get eating and/or limbs ripped off. What do you expect them to do?

Nope, Levi and Mikasa were watching from outside the building. Mikasa even said that because the guy was groping Armin's chest, he would soon notice that Armin was a boy and not a girl.

Okay, but the point still stands. If Armin's life were in danger, and I'm sure if he were actually being raped, she'd be there. But Mikasa's not in a position (nor the type of character) to blow the mission and freak out because her friend is being groped.

lol don't criticize just Mikasa. Eren doesn't seem to care either when Armin is visibly disturbed while they are sitting at the same table. He most likely heard what happened. He's not asking Armin whats wrong despite being his best friend, yet you exempt him?

Why stop there. Sasha and Connie saw too as they were position on another roof, they saw just as much as Mikasa and Levi and they are straight out laughing at Armin.

What the fuck is Mikasa supposed to do? Rise above everyone else and comfort Armin like he's a little baby, despite her never having been one for comforting others?

Mikasa was in a situation similar to Armin as a kid, she has PTSD and you expect her above everyone else to be shown to drop everything and coddle Armin?

Well Jean was the only person who witnessed it happening. Mikasa saw it too, but from a distance, and she let Levi know that things were getting bad in there, and they had to break in asap. So it's not like Mikasa didn't care
But yeah, Isayama definitely could have shown it in a more serious light, so you're not wrong there. I myself kind of feel like it was something he used to show that acting as decoys was dangerous for Jean and Armin, without resorting to any actual physical violence happening to them.

And, I think he also added the scene, because if the guy found out that Armin wasn't actually a girl, then Jean and Armin's cover would have been blown, and they would have been in serious trouble

The scene where they're around the table and Sasha & Connie are amused? I'm pretty sure that's a flashback and they just found out that Armin & Jean were going play Historia & Eren.
