Oh, fuck off. That's exactly the opposite of what he's saying. He understands fully and said it from the outset that he does not get to dictate what she does. He's still allowed to have and struggle with his feelings about it, feelings which are frankly not uncommon and or simple. If every man could grasp that his feelings aren't the end all and be all -- AND envision still valuing a woman who doesn't follow his preferences every time -- like he's doing, we'd be a lot better off.

Feelings are not horrible things no matter what they are. It's what we DO with and about our feelings when it comes to other people that matters.
