That isn't true. I got a bill of sale right here that says they belong to me, bought 'em fair and square last year.

Of course people are allowed to move on.

However, it's human for those who are left behind to feel a little sad that they don't have as many people to play with. Resentment is a close cousin, because you remember the "glory days" of your fandom, and everyone left you behind.

So I don't think they're being an asshole, just expressing their feelings on the matter.

I agree. (Also not OP but yeah, I've felt resentful before for silly reasons.)
