Naw, you don't. I'm pretty much a book/video game girl and I can work from that. I mean, there are going to be some dicks who aren't okay with it - but most people will be okay with it.

But it *does* get really annoying when people act shocked and horrified when they find out you don't watch much tv/aren't into that as much as you are books/whatever else.

I'm a bit two-fold because I don't watch a lot of shows, but what I do love, I love to nerdalicious levels.

Do people do that? I'm glad I've never seen them.

It varies over time, but (live action) TV shows are usually at the bottom of my fandom interests. I love me some video games, like anime and some cartoons, and enjoy books. I do watch movies and my favorites I really love, but I don't watch very many movies. I like a few webcomics, but since one of them is Homestuck that probably counts for a lot in that genre haha.

Nobody's ever given me shit for not watching a lot of TV...that really sucks. :/

Oh yeah. People do it a lot - but, to be fair, that's probably because I don't watch tv. I mean, if the tv is already on, and it looks interesting I'll stick around for the rest of the episode but...otherwise, I just don't see it.

Oddly enough, it also seems to blow people's minds when they find out I've never had cable. : /
