Re: German movies/shows/songs recommendations

Run Lola Run (Lola Rennt in German) and Goodbye Lenin are both two great movies in German.

I'd also recommend seeing if your college library has any children's books in another language, that's usually the easiest way to pick up a new language. I actually have Harry Potter in several languages and it's helped me retain my Spanish.

Definitely check out films, your college should have them on DVD if you can't get them downloaded.
