I don't know what level you're at but I'm doing a degree in German, so...

I enjoy looking up the "Extra 3" videos on Youtube. It's a German satirical show and I've found every segement very funny, especially "Die Sendung mit dem Klaus" (a parody of the children's show "Die Sendung mit der Maus").

And I'm currently reading a novel by David Safier called "Ploetzlich Shakespeare", about a woman who finds shares a body with William Shakespeare and vice-versa... actually, everything I've read by him is fantastic and really funny - "Mieses Karma", "Happy Family" and "Jesus liebt mich" (which I think is a film now, maybe you could watch that).
