Since when is TV nerdy?

No, really, unless you mean sci fi and stuff... it's "cool" to watch TV. I'm a total nerd, btw, and I still watch non-sci fi TV, I'm just saying I don't think watching a lot of Glee makes you a nerd at all.

Yeah, even shows from 'nerdy' genres like fantasy and even sci-fi are still pretty mainstream nowadays (Game of Thrones is one of the most widely watched shows among the 15-30s generation).
Also I don't think there is much to nerd about in tv shows; most are character or story driven and don't have as much content when it comes to worldbuilding (with notable exceptions such as Star Trek).

I think OP isn't saying that tv show are nerdy just that they can be nerdy. Like Star Trek or Buffy
