I'm sick of back pain and not being able to do anything about it on account of not being able to afford physical therapy or massages or chiropractors or whatever.

IDK if this is an option for you, but are there any clinics around you? There is a clinic near me which is basically for students to learn, so it has a couple of doctors of various types, and then a bunch of students. I have hurt my back seriously a couple of times (once I compressed lumbar vertebrae), and I was able to go there. It's not ideal, as it is students, with the issues that sometimes arise from that, but I couldnkt have survived without it.
