Re: What's the craziest/weirdest/coolest thing you have ever done?

My stories are never impressive but more of the, "Oh, God, you poor dumb fool." type. See, up until a few years ago, I had the worst sense of direction. Coupled with a crippling shyness, though some would argue stubbornness, to ask for directions. Which lead me to getting seriously lost when ever I traveled.

For example, I traveled from South East Virginia to northern, mid border of North Carolina to check out condos for a move. I got lost returning to Virginia. How lost you ask? By the time I forced myself to go up to a stranger's house to ask directions, I was at the North Carolina/South Carolina border.

Yeah...like I said, poor, dumb fool.

There there was the time I was out of the US and her territories for the first time. I was in London. First day. I forgot the name of my hotel. I got lost. Wounded up wandering the city from 4 in the afternoon to five in the morning ON FOOT before I accidentally stumbled onto the hotel. My feet were messed up for weeks after that. The straps of the sandals I was wearing at the time were ill fitting to begin with. After that I had scars from where they had dug into my skin. Years and years later you can still see the faint scars.

Say it with me...poor dumb fool.
