I want to shake my fist at cars who are waiting to turn and keep slowly inching their car forward while the pedestrian crossing light is on so that they make me paranoid and I freaking run to the other side. They don't stop and keep moving even though I AM CROSSING THE STREET AT A REASONABLY FAST PACE WHY ARE YOU ALL SO IMPATIENT

And there are a lot of elderly people around here too (I live next to a retirement home) and I wonder if they do this too if an older person with a walker is crossing the street.

Oh, I hate that. "Are you stopping or not?"

One time I was trying to cross a two-way street, and one car stopped and the other didn't. It finally did, thankfully, but I was only slightly terrified for a minute there.
