Is anybody watching Samurai Flamenco?

What do you think? Is it good or not so good? I watched the first episode and thought it was kind of funny (more excited about Yowapeda [how cute is that?]) but I'm not hooked yet. What should I be watching for? Characters/pairs/what?

I'm not watching it because I heard that it took a huge tone shift, but I was interested in watching it before that.

From daily life and fun shenanigans goes to full sentai.

The tone shifts are hard to get used to for an episode or two, but it seems they're really part of the point of the series and in my opinion they work once you get used to that... but it's a polarizing aspect with people who've been watching regularly, so ymmv

I don't know. It looks like the main characters are both men so I think it's probably light on GL. I like both so ladylovin is welcome, where I'm concerned.

It does. I don't know if I'd say quite a ton, as far as screentime, but what starts out as apparent fanservice and one girl using the other develops into something I found very wonderfully surprising. I love all the characters, but the girls and f/f pair are my favorites (and I say this as someone who generally prefers m/m).

It's weird and fun, but I'm not sure if it's good or bad even as we get closer to the ending, because the plot is... well, saying anything ruins everything.

I'm enjoying it, though, and I love the characters and the ships.
