Re: what characters/ships did you HATE until fandom ruined it for you?

Steven Moffat. He's not perfect and some of what he says is problematic, but the sheer hate and vitrol from some corners of the Doctor Who fandom have made me want to defend his handling of the show (which is spurred on, I feel in some part by SJWs bandwagoning). Yes, he says skeevy things about women, and yes, his handling of Who isn't perfect (he chruns through plot after plot after plot sometimes to the detriment of the characters) but I don't nearly see the amount of misogny, racism, and homophobia that the anti - Moffat Whovians and their SJW allies claim there are. Of course on the flipside, like I said, Moffat's not perfect and the fans who think he can do no wrong can get on my nerves too.
