Yeah, its a generational thing. And your kids/neice/nephew will think their bland pop music is way better than yours.

Or sometimes, they'll think it's way worse. That happens a lot too - "Music was so much more authentic back in the day! Now it's all just mindless pop. I wish I was born in [whatever decade] when they were still making good music." Not sure if that's more or less dumb than the other way around.

See, I don't even get that attitude because you can still listen to the music of the "olden days" plus enjoy what ever good stuff is being released now. Although, people with that attitude probably don't think good stuff is being released now.

I love Renaissance music (ultra hipster!) but I certainly wouldn't have wanted to live in that time.
