Ugly = bad, evil, vile, corrupt, disgusting.
Pretty = good, pure, moral, noble.

It's how things have been coded for centuries (at least), popular media doing even more to drive these concepts into our psyches.

Yeeah. On a related note, it makes me irrationally angry when people justify the actions of a villain because they are played by a hot actor/described as hot-looking. Like, NO.

It's kind of funny, because if you read Sansa's chapters in the books, she regularly judges people as good or bad depending on how attractive they are. It makes me laugh that some people in the fandom are on the same intellectual level as a fourteen year old.
