On an unrelated but related note, the generic can in the secret gave me flashbacks of being a child and going food shopping at the Commissary on base. Like this can, the generic food would be wrapped all in white packaging with black, plain texts. So you would have white bags with black lettering reading, "POTATO CHIPS" or "PRETZELS" and nothing else on the packaging save for the nutritional information on the back. You don't see this style of packaging any more. These days the generic stuff has just as nice packaging as the name brand stuff. But for a while, looking at the sort of packaging, there was something sci-fi about it. Very "They live."

Very "They live."

Or very Repo Man.

This is making me nostalgic for Lost. All the memorable imagery from that show, and the thing that sticks with me most is the DHARMA product labels.

No Name brand in Canada packages food like that. Solid yellow with black text, nothing more.
