Re: blonde hair darkening

For some yes. In my family, many of us were born blond, I was, so was my dad and his mother but as we aged our hair became darker and darker until we became medium brown haired. For some reason, this happens much more in people with Irish, Welsh, English and Scottish genes than say people from the Scandinavian or the Germanic countries. For those people, if they are born blond, they stay blond through out their lives.

All of my family is Scandinavian and I still have darkening of my formerly blonde hair. :/
