Jo and Ellen's deaths on Supernatural nearly made me ragequit the show, I was that heartbroken.

I ragequit the show proper after Anna's death because I finally stopped lying to myself and realized that the writing's treatment of women really was as appalling as people had been telling me the whole time.

The ones I can think of right away, there is probably a lot more:

Lexie Grey and Mark Sloan in Grey's Anatomy, but mostly Lexie.
Fred and Sirius comes to mind from Harry Potter
Spike in Buffy as I didn't know he would come back, but then he did so all was wellish
All the deaths in Torchwood, mostly Ianto and Tosh, but I liked Owen and I'm still pissed Gwen was the only survivor...

The character death that first made my cry all the way to school was Starscream in Transformers: Armada.

Also all the deaths in the TMNT 2003 episodes 'Same As It Never Was', despite the fact they were alternate dimension deaths.

Gandalf's death in Moria still has me in bits, and no, I don't care that he comes back afterwards.

Since a thread yesterday reminded me of it, all of Plague Dogs, but especially the implied ending. For the love of god. Also, Boxer from Animal Farm. That was another early one. And so many deaths in Animals of Farthing Wood. Rule one of kids cartoons: if it features non-anthropomorphic animals as the main cast, there will be tears. And horror. And more tears.

A lot of these are more from my childhood than anything else, but I think you just don't get over the childhood ones?

Agent 355. Her death really got to me for some reason.

The Boss from Metal Gear Solid. Her death was such a beautiful, well written scene, and that moment (and the bits that come after) is one of my absolute favorite in the Metal Gear series. Very, very few things compare to it in my mind. I just really fucking love The Boss, okay? And the setting. And having to pull the trigger made the scene two times worse, and so horribly poignant. No. NO.

I always say this, but Maes Hughes. Not even his actual death scene, but the funeral scene where his daughter screams (wanting him back) and Roy stands at his grave and cries. That scene fucking kills me every time.

Boromir from LOTR! "I would have followed you, my brother... my captain... my king."

Oh, and Thane and (especially) Mordin's deaths in Mass Effect. Thane because he was my beautiful, badass assassin and HE SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE OUT LIKE THAT (plus, his last words seriously left me a blubbering mess, not to mention more in love with him than ever), and Mordin...just...god, no, no, he was the last person who should've, nooooooooo. It was so traumatic. So fucking wrong, so fucking brave, and so traumatic. (But again, beautifully written.)

Pretty much every animated character's death has made me blubber like a baby.

Wash. ;_;

Draco, from Dragonheart, I still cry so hard at the end of that film. Like once I thought I was going to be fine 'cause I didn't tear up but then the credits rolled and nope, I was bawling my eyes out. Goddamn.

Remus and Tonks from HP, I was actually surprised at how much I cried at their deaths.

And Rue, I was all sorts of sad and weepy over her.
