I love all h/c tropes ever. Especially the "both character A and character B are stupidly oblivious to their awesome friendship until a thing happens". I could eat this with a spoon. And the Not Quite Dead trope.

I haaate Freudian villains and Moriarty-esque omnipotent antagonists who are not only omnipotent but also appear every-fucking-where. Both of these make me nope out of a work in no time at all.

Yes to H/C (any kind). Probably my favorite genre.

And my main thing about the omnipotent antagonists is where do you go from there? You see it in shows like Buffy and Supernatural. The previous villain was badass and now you have to find a tougher villain for this season. Eventually you end up with some villain that makes everyone say, "They beat Lucifer but they can't beat this dude? REALLY?"

Exactly. I think an omnipotent antagonist could be really great for the last season of a show, but then it would have to be the last season, they couldn't go back on it, because come on.

Kinda like Dragonball Z, then?
