What, if anything, did you do today that made you happy and/or satisfied?

I cleaned all my makeup brushes (finally) and finished bottling a new batch of homemade bitters. Hoorah for quiet Sundays!

A friend lent me a copy of Marvel's Science Club. We Do Science!!

Mwahahahaah!

Now on to 2000.

I came home from vacation with rhubarb jelly and chestnut paste handmade by my granddad, and a pile of books.

Sounds awesome. I've never tasted rhubarb jelly, but I suspect I'd love it. And books <3

I had a new idea for a story that I really like.

Talked to my best friend, learnt some stuff about ships, learnt some new nice mathematical stuff. Finished Flying Colours (yay!). Made a gifset of my brotp that's making my flail every time I look at it. Also, bought myself a pomegranate.

Yay for all of that! What new mathematical things? Sounds fun. Also, pomegranates are delicious.

I masturbated first thing this morning. It's been downhill ever since.

I planted seeds indoors to get a head start on my garden.

Oooh! What did you plant? I live in a fairly small apartment, but I've been thinking of planting a few things in the coming months.

Tomatoes, okra, peas, gourds, and a bunch of flowers.

I finally caught up all my TV that I had gotten behind on for weeks.

Always an awesome feeling. Anything particularly good?

I was actually kind of productive! I made progress on my study notecards and my big mammalogy term paper, got some busywork done, and cooked my dinners for the rest of the week. I also cleaned a bit and will do some more before I go to bed. :)

jerked my friend off for the first time in awhile

1) I thought I had filed for unemployment for the week before this last week but then woke up this morning realizing I hadn't. I thought that meant I'd missed the deadline but when I went to the website to file for last week, I saw I could still file for the week before. Yay!

2) I have an interview this week for a job I think I have a very good chance of getting, so this whole filing for unemployment business will hopefully soon be moot!

3) I missed an email from late last week regarding the above-mentioned job because I'm still new to Gmail and it was set so "conversations" would be collapsed. I kept logging in and not seeing relevant new emails and logging out, only to realize today there were two new emails hidden in what I thought was just an older email but was really a "conversation." Anyway, I changed my Gmail settings and replied to the email and got a response confirming the interview, so that worked out okay, too!

Congratulations! Best of luck on the interview. I have been there, and it's rough, but here's hoping you'll make it through soon :)
