1) I thought I had filed for unemployment for the week before this last week but then woke up this morning realizing I hadn't. I thought that meant I'd missed the deadline but when I went to the website to file for last week, I saw I could still file for the week before. Yay!

2) I have an interview this week for a job I think I have a very good chance of getting, so this whole filing for unemployment business will hopefully soon be moot!

3) I missed an email from late last week regarding the above-mentioned job because I'm still new to Gmail and it was set so "conversations" would be collapsed. I kept logging in and not seeing relevant new emails and logging out, only to realize today there were two new emails hidden in what I thought was just an older email but was really a "conversation." Anyway, I changed my Gmail settings and replied to the email and got a response confirming the interview, so that worked out okay, too!

Congratulations! Best of luck on the interview. I have been there, and it's rough, but here's hoping you'll make it through soon :)
