It's that time of year again

And I'm starting to dislike a couple of my housemates. Those little things that a few months ago I wouldn't have noticed now make me furious for days if not weeks. I spent far too much of my free time today sticking my middle fingers up at nothing and imagining one of my housemates was in front of me.

Not helped by the fact that this is also the time of year that other people start getting annoyed by small things too...and start leaving little passive-aggressive notes lying around all over the place.

I'm just so annoyed...but not so annoyed that I don't realise this is dumb and so can't actually say anything about it! Which makes it worse! Argh!

Speaking as someone who gets similarly worked up over little things - communication is key. Everyone involved needs to take a breath, sit down, and talk. No notes, no anger. Even if it seems ridiculous, I'm sure they have similar stupid things that are bothering them and together you can find a middle ground.

Seriously, if you are 'furious for days, if not weeks', then you're annoyed enough to say something about your issues. This doesn't always work (see - me currently moving because my roommates and I simply see things too differently), but it's gonna be more productive than just seething.

I'm sorry, anon. This is why I live alone, despite being incapable of dealing with bugs that get into my house.

I can kinda relate, I have a roommate with several annoying habits that aren't quite annoying enough for me to be able to bring them up without being a dick
