Speaking as someone who gets similarly worked up over little things - communication is key. Everyone involved needs to take a breath, sit down, and talk. No notes, no anger. Even if it seems ridiculous, I'm sure they have similar stupid things that are bothering them and together you can find a middle ground.

Seriously, if you are 'furious for days, if not weeks', then you're annoyed enough to say something about your issues. This doesn't always work (see - me currently moving because my roommates and I simply see things too differently), but it's gonna be more productive than just seething.
