Spoilers ahead?

Could be that they all die in the very the first episode and nothing ever matters or ties into anything. I haven't watched a whole lot of anime, but of the anime I have watched, this one is very different because it doesn't have long, ongoing arcs that tell a story. Instead it's just a bunch of unrelated mini-stories being told like bedtime stories.

An interesting theory I've heard is that, when Dandy pulled on the time thread, it created many different dimensions and each episode is set in a separate dimension.

Even though I find the show really weird with its tonal whiplash, I can't help but want to see what happens in the next episode.

I kind of thought that, too, to be honest. Though, admittedly, part of that had to do with over-thinking the translation to the closing theme.

Whatever the case, I just hope that they tell us what the hell is going on! I'm enjoying the show, but I can't help but feel as if they're stringing me along at this point.
