Same, but this is also why I read zero fanfic. Anything I like, and want to read gen (or, God forbid, het) fic for, I literally cannot find it. Not in any great length, variety, or content.

This is why a lot of people advise people in your position to write what they would like to see. Sometimes it's appropriate (if you don't think your writing the subject would be very well-done) to even request a fic of certain content in a community. There are lots of writers who want to expand their experience in writing certain subjects and would be willing to help. Who knows? Maybe they've been wanting to write it, but they haven't bothered because they didn't think anyone would be interested.
