As a note, social justice is not a fandom. Tumblr itself is not a fandom.

I don't like slash either. But guess what, OP? I just don't read it. If it pops up as a side plot in one of my OTPs I just skip the graphic parts that don't interest me just like I skip any other graphic parts that I don't like in any other story. Not liking slash doesn't make you homophobic but acting like a jerk over it sure makes you sound like it. So get your undies out of a bunch and relax.

Same, but this is also why I read zero fanfic. Anything I like, and want to read gen (or, God forbid, het) fic for, I literally cannot find it. Not in any great length, variety, or content.

This is why a lot of people advise people in your position to write what they would like to see. Sometimes it's appropriate (if you don't think your writing the subject would be very well-done) to even request a fic of certain content in a community. There are lots of writers who want to expand their experience in writing certain subjects and would be willing to help. Who knows? Maybe they've been wanting to write it, but they haven't bothered because they didn't think anyone would be interested.
