I've been seeing a few Holocaust AUs and I just say nope nope nope not okay to those. Like, the summary full out says "Holocaust AU!" like it's just some kind of fun angst machine for their characters.

Pretty much my personal nope line is real life tragedies. I understand that some people use fic writing to deal with their trauma, but for me it's just a line and can't tolerate it.
