I think the worst thing about it was apparently quite a few of the judges didn't even give votes for animated film because they "didn't watch any of them" and the two or three that did chose Frozen, so that's how it won.

DA. Yep, the Oscars are a joke and in particular the Animation category is horrendous because they don't bother getting anyone who knows anything about animation to vote.

Disney and Pixar almost always win because that's who these people know, not because their films are always the better choice.

I enjoyed Frozen but this win means exactly nothing.

Didn't they only make the best animated movie category in the first place because Beauty and the Beast almost won best picture and everyone freaked out about it, and decided it could never be allowed to happen again?
