I think you kinda have a point with your first line, though it would need more context. You lost me a little at your second though. I'm all for more awesome female characters in stories and for people appreciating them, but being bitter that people like to talk about their male crushes/favorites/ships is kinda dumb and not really gonna get anywhere. It's also not sexist to have male characters you like. And people talk about and appreciate women here all the time.
